Results of a survey from HigherEd about how they’re capturing their lectures. Universities are trying to make their lectures available after the fact… (Lynda.com-style?) But part of the experience of being at a lecture is that the Prof makes comparisons to and references to the culture of the day… which students are very sensitive to. If you were watching a recording and the Prof mentioned ‘Coney Island’, would you have any idea if the rest of the material presented was equally dated?
